Baal Genshin Impact: Ei, Baal, And The REAL Identities Of Raiden Shogun!

Baal Genshin Impact

Inazuma worships the Electro Archon, known as the Raiden Shogun. Many Travelers were curious about her identity once she arrived in Baal Genshin Impact Version 2.0. Is she Baal? Ei? A Raiden Shogun, perhaps? Continue reading to learn more about Raiden Shogun from Baal Genshin Impact.

Warning: The following section contains spoilers for the Inazuma storyline. Therefore, read at your own risk if you haven’t finished both Acts of the Archon Quest for Inazuma.

In Baal Genshin Impact, Ei has numerous different personalities!

Zhongli called her “Baal” before Genshin Impact released Ei/Raiden Shogun. But her Archon Quests revealed more about her true identity… or identities? Whatever the case, many names are associated with Ei’s. She goes by the names Baal, Ei, the Raiden Shogun, and Beelzebul, and some Travelers mistakenly think she is Makoto. But our purpose is to identify who is who and which is which.

Ei is the Inazuma Electro Archon at the moment. The Raiden Shogun is not who she is. She is also commonly referred to as Baal. They refer to her as Baal while not knowing that the Electro Archon they are familiar with passed away in the past. If you completed Act 2 of the Inazuma Archon Quest, Makoto was finally introduced to Travelers in the game.

Ei chose to spend most of her existence imprisoned in the Plane of Euthymia despite taking up Makoto’s position as the Electro Archon of Inazuma. Ei extends her life by transferring her consciousness to the Plane of Euthymia, where the Raiden Shogun she substituted for her takes care of Inazuma.

It becomes clearer in Act 2 of her Archon Quest why Ei decided to lock her consciousness away in the Plane of Euthymia. Ei lost everyone she held dear during the Archon War, including her twin sister Makoto.

Baal As was previously revealed, Baal is the first Electro Archon of Inazuma. She is Ei’s twin sister and goes by Raiden Makoto. After Makoto passed away following the Calamity at Khaenri’ah, Ei made the decision not to inform the residents of Inazuma that she would be succeeding her sister as their Archon. As a result, inside and outside Inazuma, people call their Archon Baal or Raiden Makoto.

Shingun Raiden

In Inazuma, the Electro Archon can be controlled as the Raiden Shogun. She is also the Raiden we initially encounter when we arrive in Inazuma. The Raiden Shogun, however, is only a puppet made by Ei and is not the actual Electro Archon. The Raiden Shogun was made to stand in the Electro Archon’s place while she locked her consciousness away in her Plane of Euthymia, according to Baal Genshin Impact lore.

The sixth Fatui Harbinger, Scaramouche, was also made by Ei. Scaramouche and the Raiden Shogun are both robots. Later in the narrative, Ei confesses to the Traveler that she feels the Raiden Shogun is now much more powerful than her after spending a significant amount of time imprisoned in the Plane of Euthymia.

In Act 2 of the Raiden Shogun’s Story Quest, Ei squares off against her puppet to display this power.

Act 2 of Raiden Shogun’s Story Quest is what?

Ei and the Raiden Shogun engage in combat after the Traveler had helped Ei exterminate the Rifthounds that had appeared out of nowhere and were attacking the Sacred Sakura.

Ei and her puppet fight to the death in Makoto’s preserved consciousness as Ei sees her error in allowing a puppet to rule over Inazuma. As the Raiden Shogun is designed to destroy any danger to Inazuma’s goal of eternity, whoever prevails in the combat will rule Inazuma. Ei poses a challenge to the Raiden Shogun’s desire to protect Inazuma.

The Traveler searches for Yae Miko to inform her of what transpires beneath the Grand Narukami Shrine while Ei and the Raiden Shogun are engaged in combat. Like the first, Ei is shocked to see them dressed similarly when the Traveler shows around. Ei informs the Traveler that the duel has been ongoing for 500 years. Ei then dares her puppet once more to stop the conflict. Ei ultimately defeats the Raiden Shogun after a second bloody battle. The puppet agrees that Ei’s mind has not been eroded as a result, and the Raiden Shogun fulfills her end of the bargain.

Giving Ei the satisfaction she deserves marks the end of the mission. She also understands Makoto’s wish for her to view the world through her eyes as a result of this. With the aid of Yae Miko and the Traveler, Ei can finally let go of the past. Ei also lets go of her desire to keep Inazuma around forever out of concern for their safety in the event of another cataclysm.

Who is the real Inazuma Archon?

If you’re still unsure, Ei is unquestionably the Archon of Inazuma. Ei returns to her role as the Archon after completing her story quests. Ei leads the Inazuma populace alongside the Raiden Shogun.

Who is the true Inazuma Archon?

If you’re still unsure, Ei is unquestionably the Archon of Inazuma. Ei returns to her duty as the Archon after completing her tale missions. Ei leads the inhabitants of Inazuma with the Raiden Shogun.

Furthermore, if you have the Raiden Shogun in your Serenitea Pot, completing Act 1 of her story quest modifies the character’s name and interactions. The Raiden Shogun’s responses are cold; Ei’s responses are friendlier.
